Ascend The Hill
A friend of mine showed me this band, and they are rocking my world right now....
Their music is so full of passion and creativity, and they just point to Jesus all over the place. Then I went to their website and they are just absolutely sold out for Christ. What an encouragement to see. Please check them out and give their music a listen. I know it will be worth it.
Where's the Music?
Really sorry that there has been a lack of content on the site in the last several months. Amongst a busy home life and work schedules, I haven't found much time to devote to even the simplest of recordings. I have, however, been able to pen several songs that I hope to share in the coming weeks/months/year. So stay tuned for that. God is good even when our lives get busy. I find that He is challenging me to find peace when things are crazy all around, and to find refuge in prayers and in His scripture.
Beautiful Maker
All of creation is constantly saying that God is passionately loving. Just think about all the little details of an atom or the far off universes that we will never travel. Or the deepest oceans that we cannot all see face to face. God's love is so passionate that He went (and continues to go) beyond what we can understand to give and express His love.

When it comes to song writing, there are about as many approaches to creating as there are song writers themselves. That being said, there are obviously far fewer excellent examples of songwriters than there are of poor song writers. I don't write this blog post as being apart of the former group, but I and every other songwriter certainly strive to serve with excellence at what we do (if not "the" best, then at least "our" best).
